DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC warrants its products to be
free from defects in material or manufacturing. DeckLok Bracket
Systems, LLC products are further warranted as to adequacy
of design, provided products are properly specified and installed.
This warranty does not apply in the event products are altered
in any way or are improperly installed. Liability is limited to
repair or replacement of products proven to be defective. DeckLok
Bracket Systems, LLC has made no other warranty, express or
implied, regarding its products, including, but not limited to,
any warranty regarding merchantability or fitness for a specific
purpose. Any claim that a product is defective must be brought
within 1 month of the date of installation of such products by
the original purchaser. Customer hereby agrees that no other incidental
or consequential damages are the responsibility of DeckLok Bracket
Systems, LLC.
We are unaware of any damages caused by defective DeckLok products
or that any defective products have been sold and/or installed.
Where parts are designed to work together, DeckLok products
are not warranted if installed in conjunction with other non-DeckLok
products. DeckLok products are not warranted if installed
using fasteners other than those specifically recommended by our
corresponding literature.

The DeckLok advanced lateral anchor is designed to secure the three critical connections of a wood structure (“the deck”) to an adjacent building. These three critical connections are: (1) the ledger board attachments to an existing structure; (2) the guardrail post attachments to a structural wood frame; and (3) the stair stringer connections to a structural wood frame.
DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC guarantees the structural integrity of these connections when the DeckLok lateral anchor is installed in conformance with the DeckLok installation instructions. This Guarantee applies for a period of 15 years for the hot dip galvanized anchors, and a period of 40 years for the stainless steel anchors, from the date of purchase of the anchors. If structural failure occurs as a result of the DeckLok lateral anchor breaking, tearing, or failing due to metal fatigue, DeckLok will reimburse the cost of materials and labor required to return the project to the point of completion at the time of the failure. Further, if any injuries are incurred due to such failure of the DeckLok lateral anchor, DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC will reimburse the owner of the DeckLok lateral anchor for medical costs, up to a combined total of $100,000 (one hundred thousand dollars) for injuries resulting from the failure of the DeckLok lateral anchor.
Requirements
For this Product Protection Guarantee to apply, the following prerequisites must be met:
- The project must be registered with DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC, within 30 days after the project’s completion, using the registration form (PDF) available for download here.
- The DeckLok lateral anchor must be installed in the project in accordance with the installation instructions provided with the anchors by DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC
- DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC reserves the right to inspect the project at any time to ascertain that the anchors were properly installed and to ensure compliance with DeckLok Bracket Systems installation requirements.
Disclaimers
DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC is not responsible for any failure if: (1) the failure resulted from deterioration or failure of project materials other than the DeckLok anchor, or to improper use or installation of an element of the project other than the DeckLok anchor; (2) the DeckLok anchor has been used or installed other than in complete accordance with the installation procedures specified by DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC, or has been altered or modified in any way; or (3) the failure is due to an act or condition outside of the control of DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC, including but not limited to tornado, hurricane, flooding, earthquake, or other Acts of God. Further, the Product Protection Guarantee extends only to the owners of the deck in which the anchors are first installed, for so long as such person(s) own that deck; it does not extend to subsequent purchasers of the deck or bracket. Satisfaction Guarantee
If, for any reason, a purchaser of a DeckLok lateral anchor is not satisfied with the performance of the anchor, the anchor may be returned to DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC, within 90 days of the date of purchase, for a replacement or full refund. Any such refund will be for 100% of the purchase price. (The purchaser will be responsible for all shipping costs). In order to receive a replacement or refund, the purchaser must provide a copy of the invoice or purchase receipt. Therefore, it is important to retain the invoice and receipt packaged with your shipment. All returns must be authorized in advance by the DeckLok Bracket Systems, LLC Customer Service Department. These Protect Protection and Satisfaction Guarantees are provided in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, all such other warranties being hereby expressly excluded.
